There is nothing for humans except what they strive for (qur’an 53:39). The All India Graduates Association was established in India with the objective of utilizing the professional strength of all the IDB scholarship beneficiries for the betterment and upliftment of the community as per the guidelines of IDB and MET. The All India Graduates’ Association (AIGA) is the alumni association in India comprising all the scholarship beneficiaries of (IDB) Scholarship Programme for Muslim Communities in Non-Member Countries.
It offers a platform for all the graduates to work together, utilizing the capabilities of IDB, MET and the graduates with one ultimate aim to uplift the Ummah. This has to be planned and carried out within current IDB, MET and AIGA’s policy and budget limits. Planning and annual work plan has entered into next level which is nothing but “Stretegic Planning”.
The resulting “Stretegic Planning” document is the collective effort of all the stakeholders of AIGA in order to orgnize, plan & implement to achieve its vision. We hope with young AIGA leaders dedicating their time and recources for its better organization and functioning.
India is proud to be one amongst the non-member countries where the scholarship programme had been started in 1983. As years pass on, the scholarship beneficiaries have gone high in their professional position due to Allah SWT’s mercy and IDB’s assistance to them. As per IDB’s norms a graduate association has been set up in India in the name of AIGA – All India Graduates’ Association which offers a platform for all the graduates to join and work for the betterment of the community.
It is registered as non-governmental organization in India under the Indian Societies Registration Act, 1860. It has been working in India since 2003.
